IRS stuff and MEDIA!

I need the paper work (i.e. application, rules, criteria for membership) asap so that i can send it off to the IRS it needs to include how we are focusing on a certain tax bracket and the sliding scale that we discussed. You can aquire this information from Matt if you are unsure. Please e-mail me a copy if you can @ progressivesustainability@yahoo.com thanx so much.
Also, has anyone spoken to the media, on and off campus, about this saturday we need this coverage. Perry Green wants to use this as a means to openly establish a relationship with their organization NROG(new river organic growers) with ACPS and the Garden as sharing the same vision of sustainability. Also, we need some wood for the raised beds asap if anyone knows of a source lets jump on it.
I hope all is well...

Things to Consider

(we need a calendar that has our goal deadlines such as when PR needs to start for plot applications, when workshop need to be scheduled by, etc)
Available plots will be assigned based on need. This will be determined through an application process. Application will be available in March (for this year have in April) and can be picked up at (location here)

Renewals will be granted based on the plotholder?s particpation in the garden, as well as on the commitment that was shown during the previous season. Renewal requests are to be received by so that the gardens leaders can prepare for the number of beds that need to be assigned the following year. (need to prepare a renewal application as well to be updated at the end of the season)

At the beginning of each season the plotholders will get together with the Community garden ?board?(need a different title here for those that are in charge) for an orientation session. All plotholders are expected to attend. During this orientation, new plotholders will recieve a packet of info containing guidelines, membership riles, scheduled work periods. Plot holders will also sign up for their garden attendant shifts.
