so, i made some flyers with maps for this sunday and next. The flyers say:

We begin to beautify a 1.2 acre plot of land for
LEOLA STREET COMMUNITY GARDEN--plus the neighboring section of Kraut Creek. Everyone is encouraged to come and get to know the place!

2/12 Sunday, same time, same place ?
If the weather is on our side, this will be our 2nd workday. We hope to start building beds this day.

they are being posted in the tech building, ids, english and history... i got the ASU library and ill hit earthfare today and the watauga youth network.

talked to matt cooper the other day. His father sent him some seeds in the mail. Matt thought that might be a good method of outreach, and I really liked the idea. What if we mailed out seeds and invitations/information to people in our area. Is it illegal to put things in peoples mailboxes instead of mailing them? cause that would be the cheapest route.

I was afraid to advertise as Leola Street Garden on the flyer for thurs. meeting. Instead it basically says "ACPS welcomes you to help plan for boone's new Community Garden"...it is cool looking and it has all the info...hopefully we'll get some new comers...
If we were thinking of meeting early before the next meeting... I can't make it. i have class til 6:15, so i will be late as is. I'll be checking back here before the meeting for sure.
i have heard some of the fundraising ideas that are in the works for the garden... sound like positive results $
