Feed Stocks and Methanol Refineries
Submitted by Murphy on Wed, 2006-05-10 12:58.Hi all,
I hope everyone is doing well, and hope to meet all of you involved in this venture sooner than later. Here is an idea/process that has been developing since the early 90s to present day; the use of feedstocks to act as a fuel during the refining process of methanol production. If any of you do not know what I am speaking of, then please do yourselves a positive favor and do some research on the subject. At any rate, my thought is to help in finding more land (Cooper, the land you mentioned
to me in our last phone discussion would be perfect) for the express purpose of growing feedstock in order to sell to various refineries. The revenues generated from the selling of this stock would of course provide necessary funding for ACPS to further other projects, as well the various financial demands of a non profit.
The reason I bring this idea up now is there are a great many projects being funded at this very moment (one in particular is a project at Ft. Belvoir laboratory in DC)to develop/refine methanol technologies for real field use in the military. However, I am not looking to provide supply to the military and further our already over stayed welcomes in the far reaches of other nations. This idea may sound far reaching and off base, but any one of you do just a little research concerning this subject you will find that this industry is getting ready to explode. Oh yeah, and by the way methanol provides a ton of positive benefits both ecofriendly and economically, and with fewer social costs that are associated with oil refining.
